Sometimes it’s fun to dive deep into a topic. I recently had to cut a large rabbet using a rabbeting bit which resulted in rounded corners. Unfortunately, I need the corners to be square so it was time to break out the chisels. While this process may be common sense to some, the actual steps taken to achieve a perfect continuation of the rabbeted edge without mangling the integrity of the lines requires quite a bit of attention to detail. So this is a step by step review of my process.
