During my Christmas break I decided to do some rearrangement and cleaning in the shop. As part of the process I realized that my drill bit storage kinda sucks. So I decided to spend two days building a simple cabinet to help me organize and store my bits. Instead of the bits getting bangup up in a drawer somewhere, they are now neatly organized in movable wood blocks. This project is made from shop scrap including 1/2″ plywood and some 4/4 and 8/4 solid stock. You can modify the plans to suit your needs and you can even use the cabinet to store your router bits too.
